About The Role
Mercor is hiring top AI/ML Research Engineers to train and fine-tune frontier foundation models for Silicon Valley AI labs. You will work on distributed training clusters, optimize loss curves, and explore novel architectures.
Key Requirements & Scope
- 5+ years production experience in deep learning and machine learning
- Mastery of PyTorch, Megatron, DeepSpeed, or FSDP at distributed GPU scale
- Experience with LLM pre-training, synthetic data generation, and RLHF/DPO
- Strong research background with published papers or top-tier open-source contributions
